A small property, created in small steps with great sacrifices, sacrifices but also good satisfactions.
Today I can say to make and drink a clean wine.
I am fortunate to be able to meticulously take care of what I do, from my plants in the vineyard to the barrels in which the wine is born and rests.
The result is first of all my serenity .... and then the satisfaction of being able to offer my friends a frank and generous wine, which tells the story of my land.
ANNUNZIATA is a 5-hectare family organic farm located in Piedmont, on the hills between the Langhe and Monferrato Astigiano, in the Annunziata district of the municipality of Costigliole d'Asti.
Costigliole d'Asti is the largest town in Italy and has always been a reference for the production of great red wines such as Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Freisa, Grignolino and whites, such as Moscato, Cortese, Arneis.
The company center is located at an altitude of 400 m a.s.l. with south-east exposure and overlooks the Astiana Wine Route.
Our high hill soils are made up of limestone marl of marine origin with outcrops of active limestone, "white rocks" and intrusions of layered clays and sandy lenses; they have hosted the vineyards since time immemorial.
Our challenge is to continue producing Wines of the High Quality Tradition, D.O.C. and D.O.C.G., passing on the working methods and flavors of our territory, but all this with a particular eye on the environment, on the sustainability of production processes and on consumer health.
For this reason we have always practiced ORGANIC and BIODYNAMIC AGRICULTURE, using good agronomic practices and natural products for the defense of our vineyards.
We also feel very strongly the responsibility for the conservation of one of the most characteristic areas in the world.
The vines are all Denomination: BARBERA D'ASTI SUPERIORE D.O.C.G., MONFERRATO DOLCETTO D.O.C., MOSCATO D'ASTI D.O.C.G, PIEDMONT CHARDONNAY D.O.C., NEBBIOLO D.O.C, PINOT NERO D.O.C.
With the pomace deriving from maceration we produce ORGANIC SINGLE GRAPE VEGETABLES.
