Rare interpretation of this native Piedmontese vine better known throughout Italy as Vermentino. Continental cultivation on the Langa hills is rather particular: with due attention in the vineyard, it produces wines that are less voluminous and alcoholic, but fresher and more fragrant. Quickly intuited by Giorgio Abrigo, this is how the Favorita rows have been working since 1990, early harvests and reductive fermentation in autoclave are the key to the drinkability and freshness of this wine. Lovers and haters, on this wine we are divided in two; the empty bottles on the tables make them both happy.
Straw yellow color with green reflections, slightly effervescent
Equipped with primary aromas accentuated by the carbon dioxide contained. There are evident hints of wildflowers, wild herbs, green apple, and pear. It continues, especially after the first 6 months of life, with tertiary aromas typical of the stop on the yeasts and light bakery
In the mouth it is mineral and well balanced, it is very fresh and very drinkable.
