Pinot Grigio is a vine widely spread in Northern Italy, which prefers fresh soils and good temperature ranges to best express its finesse. The owned vineyards are located in one of the most important crus of Oltrepò, in Montalto Pavese, at about 400 m above sea level. Montalto is in a fortunate climatic condition where it can benefit as much from the warm currents as it does from the fresh ones from the Apennines, thus allowing the grapes a balanced maturation capable of reaching high technological and aromatic profiles. The vinification takes place with fermentation of about 20 days at low temperature, and the wine is subsequently kept on the fine lees through batonnages for 4-5 months, acquiring greater roundness and elegance.
